(Αmerican Journal of Orthodontics) Πανεπιστημιακή έρευνα στο ίδιο τεύχος έδειξε ότι τα σιδεράκια Fastbraces®, παρουσίασαν τη λιγότερη δυνατή απορρόφηση ριζών σε σχέση με τα κλασσικά ορθοδοντικά συστήματα που μελετήθηκαν. Πιστεύουμε ότι αυτό οφείλεται στο γεγονός ότι μετακινούμε το δόντι σε ένα στάδιο, και γιατί δεν χρειάζεται οι ασθενείς να φοράνε σιδεράκια για μεγάλο χρονικό διάστημα
